Music, Movies, and Books
movies - a fine selction:
In China essen sie Hunde / In China They Eat Dogs,
Die fabelhafte Welt der Amelie / Amelie from Montmartre,
Alles ist Erleuchtet / Everything is Illuminated,
A Broke Down Melody.
music: actually a rather wide range of musicstyles i
like to listen, my favourite band is probably
tocotronic (german indie-rock band, counting themselves to the "hamburger schule") they found an awesome manner
to connect poetry, melodie, rythm, and so to express
emotion.
I like electronic music, but can´t prefer any artists because i don´t really know them by name.
from time to time it´s just "satisfying" to spend a night in the dark and dance through it.
I can´t name any favourit books and authors, just a few that impressed me in a certain way, and that I can really recommend (besides worldliteratur which most people know anyway):
"Herr Lehmann" (Sven Regener)
"Das Kartengeheimnis", "Der Geschichtenverkäufer" (Jostein Gaarder)
"Die Wüstenblume" (Waris Dirie)
"Der Schamane" (Noah Gordon)
"Polt-Bücher" (Alfred Komarek)
...
i really love to listen to audiobooks and plays, so
i have quite a huge amount of data on my harddisk -
accumulated by legal sharing! :-)
