ABOUT ME

Hey,

I am a 27 year old vegetarian and physicist from Hamburg, with polish origin, who lived in the Netherlands to complete my masters thesis, spend a year in beautiful Bologna and is now staying in Glasgow.
I love to meet nice and openminded people and as a physicis I am used to nerds and cherish video games, comic books and all kinds of crazy activities.
If I could live my life again, I would like to study art, though I often lack the patience to finish my work.
I love to cook and I love to eat delicious meals! I still need to improve on my skills to make the latter myself, though. :)
And the last thing that comes to my mind, I am very fond of animals.

PHILOSOPHY

I am actually not sure about that, yet. I think I would like to live my life so that in the end it was not just for me. I would like to help to make the world a better place somehow.
I still need to find out how...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was visiting the Veggi-Street Day and was hosted by a very nice couple and besides that I met some nice people via CS, just to meet up and talk ;)

One very nice recent movie: Scott Pilgrim vs. the world
Other movies: Tim Burton movies (like Big fish, A nightmare before Christmas....), Wall-E, Ratatouille, Grave of the Fireflies... and more :)

I am currently reading the "A song of ice and fire" series. I like fantasy and science-fiction, but I also read other books.
Some of my favorite authors are Stanislaw Lem, Terry Pratchett and Ursula K. Le Guin.

And music.... oh my, I never managed to get a music collection. And I do not know for sure what my taste is. Sometimes I like Chopin, sometimes I listen to Nirvana, but most of the time I am listening to the radio. ;)
