ABOUT ME

i'm somebody interested in life, for real :) i find a lot of whats going on has nothing to do with life in it's real meaning or even works against it. so what i look for in myself and others is balance, joyfullness&friendliness, skill and neverending curiousness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

What i don't like is this platform being missused as a dating service.For me, couchsurfing is one of the best ways of travelling and connecting. the huge plus is the people who, through their hospitality and generousity and trust, open up a way to really get in touch with the place you're travelling, since they live there and are part of the place.I'd love to show you around Heidelberg, one of the loveliest cities in germany. i know nice people and nice places there, so if you like, we could hang out together. if you just want a quiet place to stay, that's also possible somehow. it's just that sometimes i'm really busy. that's the minus if you use your breaks all for travelling :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my first couchsurfing experience was somewhat accidental: i landed in a new city, it was raining, it was the weekend, and all the hostels were packed and booked out. but then, some guy in a hostel that couldn't take me in told me about his mate, a couchsurfer whom i could maybe ask. and i was so lucky, because not only could i stay with medhy in the middle of the old town, but also marie, whom i then got to know and appreciate so fast, was staying there. this first experience is allegorical for the whole thing, i think: wherever on earth you are, there are people living there who genrously welcome you, saving you from rain :). you make contacts that stay. you share time, food, languages and are part of something bigger with the amazing intention of connecting and sharing.

Interests

i'm interested and everything that makes life good: music and company, food and cooking, reading and learning, being creative. learning the means to providing yourself with what is necessary and accessible and good and sharing it with others. healing and staying healthy, plants and animals, earth, sky, the stuff in between :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: the range is wide... whatever brings across the right vibes for that moment.... i enjoy classical and world music, also psytrance.
whatever fits in the occasion...

Books: Most of what i'm reading these days is connected with my studies... doesn't leave me a lotta time to read novels... but i love historical and fantasy ones.

Teach, Learn, Share

i love to learn languages and am always happy to experience different cultures. also, it's just awesome to be creative together. i love cooking together, making things (wool, pearls, wood, anything) and care for things or beings and I am always interested to find out new ways and means.
