ABOUT ME

Funny, sincere, kind, talkative (especially after a couple of beers :).

I am a banker currently living in Istanbul. I hosted people in London previously and made great friendships, listened amazing stories, discovered so many new places and had so much fun!! And now I am back in Istanbul and thinking why don’t I do the same in my hometown :)

I live at a very central location, 15 minutes away from Taksim Square by walk.

Via friends. My neighbours in istanbul (profiles can be found below) have been hosting couchsurfers for a long time and i was lucky enough to meet them and join all the fun in the last 1 year. So i decided to join the community.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not picky in music. Basically listen to each kind provided they are good. I have a vast spectrum ranging from Turkish Folk to Heavy Metal, Psychedelic to Jazz. Not big fan of the popular shit nowadays though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Attended all GeziPark protests in Istanbul to protest against authoritarianism. I got even arrested and taken under custody for 3 days. Still missing.. Good tımes :)
