Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking forward to traveling, but I don't to have a hollow experience by keeping to myself, I'd rather immerse myself in the culture, learn about the people and traditions of the countries I visit and hopefully make a few good friends along the way. What I like about Couchsurfing is that it gives a lot of people across the world access to places and people that they wouldn't normally have access to and that this is possible because of the kindness and openness of others.

Right now I cannot offer a room at my flat as the company I rent from has a "no visitors" rule and I will be evicted if caught breaking this. They come at random times every month to make sure you're keeping to the rules too, it's messed up.

Interests

I like wild camping and wild swimming in beautiful places; activities - skating, snorkeling, martial arts, etc. I just love activities haha; exploring my home city as well as new places; psychological films without a happy ending - anything that makes me contemplate reality, my existence, the human condition etc; a bunch of different music genres from neo-r&b to electronic to hip hop to folk to soul; politics, sociology, psychology, and philosophy; red wine and extra spicy food.
