ABOUT ME

I like meeting new people and discovering their ways of life,seeing new places, lerning new things - I really love exploring habbits and customs of people from various cultures. I got inspired by Greek "siga siga" - (slow down, don't hurry) - a magic phrase which can be applied almost to everything: take you time, enjoy being with your friends, don't get stressed too much. Sometimes it still takes me some effort but I learned that it is relly worth stopping and enjoying your time.

After Greece I started working in an international NGO for youth and environment. Like many other youth NGOs it was a little messy, with deadlines coming always out of sudden, but otherwise it was a great time of being with friends (cooking and sharíng meals with your colleagues), travelling and meeting new people thanks to many youth events abroad.
Las year I spent awesome (new world I've learned using here!!!) 8 month in Vancouver and made a nice trip to Montreal and NY.
Right now we (my boyfriend and I) are almost on the way to Brasil!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started with CS in June 2010 as I got inspired by my friends. CS helped me find not only both short and long term accommodation but most importantly good friends as well!

Interests

playing lacrosse and volleyball, cycling,skiing and cross country s., trying to figure out how on earth do people ice-skate, sweating at hot yoga, studying Greek (although it's still a bit Greek to me!), eating chocolate...and after being in Vancouver eating sushi as well ;), learning peculiar English expressions, preparing and enjoying outdoor treasure hunts and puzzles, admiring nature, baking chocolate cakes with my boyfriend, mutually stumping on our feet when dancing salsa...
