关于我

(they/them) I am a nonbinary lesbian who was born in UT on three acres of property where I had a laid-back childhood filled with traveling and learning, which set the foundation for my adulthood. I have been on the road since January, and this is my second time moving out of state. I have worked in nonprofits the majority of my life and enjoy giving back to communities around me. Right now, I am slowly making my way through the remaining national parks I am interested in before heading to the West Coast to work.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For me, couchsurfing is about more than just finding a place to stay; it's about forging genuine connections with people from all walks of life. There's a unique joy in sharing stories over a home-cooked meal, exploring hidden gems guided by locals, and immersing myself in the everyday rhythms of a new place. These experiences have taught me that the world is filled with kindness, curiosity, and shared humanity. Through couchsurfing, I've not only discovered new cultures but also formed friendships that transcend borders. It's this spirit of openness and exchange that keeps me inspired to continue living.

音乐、电影和书籍

🎧 Currently Into
Audiobooks on extreme survival and disasters — into gripping memoirs and true‑story dramas about how people persevere through catastrophic situations.

Sapphic fiction — swooning over smart, emotionally rich queer love stories with layered characters beyond the usual tropes.

📺 What I Watch
AGT — I’ve been obsessed with AGT since I started rewatching it as an adult. I love it for its “two-minute audition can change your life” magic—especially when a Golden Buzzer moment lands. Amazingly, we're on season 20, and I wish we could have kept Heidi and gotten rid of Howie.

Alone — I’m hooked on the self‑shot, completely stripped‑down survival challenges. Watching contestants face isolation and nature with just 10 items is fascinating. (Survival + mental grit = my jam!)

Dancing with the Stars — been tuning into season 33, love the energy, the rivalries, and routines led by powerful women.

Ghostbusters — especially the female‑led reboot (featuring Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Melissa McCarthy, and Leslie Jones), they turned an originally mid (but iconic) movie into a comical, refreshing, and timeless film I watch year-round.

Spiderman — I've been a lifelong fan and am STOKED we get a new movie next July!! Who is your favorite spidey?

💡 If you hadn't noticed, the common thread: Everything with a Strong Female Lead
Whether it's a young singing group combining country, pop, and hip-hop into their own genre, a survival expert toughing it out alone, a dancing champ, or a scientist battling ghosts—female voices and perspectives are what really light me up.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Solo‑drove the full 1,387-mile Alaska–Canada (ALCAN) Highway from Dawson Creek, B.C. to Delta Junction, Alaska, an unforgettable wilderness adventure through some of North America’s most remote terrain.

Joined multiple humanitarian service trips, from building sidewalks and bathrooms to teaching English in rural communities, work that reshaped perspectives and sparked lifelong connections.

I was the first in my family to earn a four-year degree. This was a milestone that forged new ground and inspired other family members.

教,学,和分享

I’m all about mutual curiosity and story‑swapping. Tell me about your go‑to city moment, local fave restaurant, or unexpected adventure, and I’ll share what I’ve seen and what fascinates me, too—even if it’s just a few corners of the map so far.

Travel is nothing without exchange: whether we end up talking traditions, food, uncanny coincidences, or personal "aha" moments, I’d love to learn from you—and hope you’ll be inspired by what I bring. That kind of generous listening and honest sharing is what connects Couchsurfers to something deeper.

This isn’t just small talk—it’s about staying curious and sharing your life to build genuine connections.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

Happy to cook a meal and clean up afterward, reorganize or declutter shared spaces, lend a hand with touch-up painting, or simply help wherever needed—think of me as an extra pair of helpful hands (always by invitation 😊). I love contributing, and I especially enjoy seeing spaces sparkle before I leave!
