ABOUT ME

My name is Kadie and I am 22 years old. I am a senior at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota studying Sociology/Anthropology. I'm a happy-go-lucky type of girl who always looks at the bright side of things. I am spontaneous and up for almost anything on a moments notice. Anytime you see me, I will have a smile on my face 99% of the time.

We only have a short period of time on this earth. I plan to meet as many people as I can and make a positive impact on each one. Whether I helped them to go down the right path in life, or was just able to make them smile that day, it's enough for me. My goal in life is to share happiness and love, because everyone deserves at least that much.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am in my last year of college and renting a house in Saint Peter, MN near my school. I am able to host people at this house that I am currently living in, or at my home in Albert Lea, depending on where I am at the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few times in Denver and hope to continue surfing in other areas of the world.

Music is a big part of my life. I love listening to music as well as playing. I play the flute (band geek) and am currently trying to learn how to play the guitar. The piano and banjo are next on the list. I am a dancer. I'm a part of the dance team and dance company at my college. I love the outdoors. Great thing about Minnesota is the drastic change in weather. Every season brings a new array of activities. I love to play in the snow and go sledding in the winter (I'm still a kid at heart). I also snowboard. In the summer, I enjoy swimming, boating, playing sports, catching up with friends and soaking up the sun. Since I'm a poor college student, I enjoy making crafts. I'm good at finding a use for everything. Some may call it hoarding, but I find it valuable. I love to travel and meet people. If it was a career, I would do it in a heart beat.

I listen to a large variety of different music genres. I think music is a beautiful way to describe what words cannot. Folk, Alternative, Rock, Indie and any combination of the above are some of my favorites, but I do listen to my fair share of Country and Rap/Hip-Hop.

I like any movie or book that keeps me interested.
