About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finally, after three years of travel, I am settling down to real life in Minneapolis. From Surfer to Host, ready to pay back the hospitality shown to me.

ABOUT ME

I'm very extroverted and outgoing. I have a one bedroom apartment with a very comfy couch and a queen-sized air mattress. I write a humor/travel blog at aladyrevealsnothing.com.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe if you are hospitable, you will be treated with hospitality. That's why I love the idea of CouchSurfing so much. It's a great way to show hospitality to people from other cultures, show off your city, and share experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed my way through Europe, Asia, Central and South America. I'm a pretty good guest. Check out this article I wrote about it:

Since I've been back in Minneapolis, I have begun to host surfers and am really enjoying it. I love showing off my city and cooking for my guests.

Interests

I love riding my bicycle and running. I read as much as time allows. I love cooking and hanging out around home.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Waiting For Guffman, Better Off Dead
Books: The Glass Castle, The Poisonwood Bible, anything Murakami, the Classics

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have run three marathons and six half-marathons, and done three triathlons. Pretty impressive considering how lazy I can be.

I hiked the Inca Trail in 2011; that was pretty dang amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Surfing has provided me with great examples of what being hospitable really means. I'm ready to show the same hospitality to my guests!
