Perpetually uprooted, I am a generation 1.5 diaspora Russian with my heart in the American Southwest, but I am currently teaching English in Prague. I spend my days drinking coffee, making friends, and hopefully learning something new. My favorite evenings are spent at punk shows or at poetry slams. (A)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has saved me many euros and many lonely nights. I am a solo traveler at heart, and my favorite part of traveling alone is the insight into the homes of others and the ways their lives forever shape mine.
Used book stores; roadside attractions; collective houses, zine libraries, and infoshops; sneaking into history museums; coffee coffee coffee; public transit; picking up hitchhickers; dumpstered goodies; languages; tarot; the sky.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once got to sit in on a brain surgery.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm as good at listening as I am at talking, so let's share!
I'm a poet and i can read you some of my poems, too.
