ABOUT ME

Hello, I am Katja,

first thing about me: I feel I am a lucky girl in many ways. Lot of good things happen to me :-)

I am open and intersted in new things. I dont like too much when nothing happen. But doesnt happen anything every day?? I like to meet people, no matter if friends or foreigners, I like to listen to their stories, laugh together, learn about different life-styles and cultures, share some good time and food and wine :-)

I also like to walk barefoot, develop while reading, listen to drum music and dance, feel my limit while bike riding or going jogging, feel the balance with yoga and meditate, travelling and be in nature, relax and enjoy life :-)

I like to laugh and shine and our kids Amira and Malik are very good teachers for it :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I want to trust in my life!! And the people around me! Everybody has to get my repect!! Feel that I am lucky!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a few experiences while surfing. Those were great. I met really interesting and lovely people, everybody in his own way.

I also had some good experiences with hosting. For me it was great to give back what I got from others (the people where I surfed). I liked to show the people my place, my town, my country. And I always enjoyed to listen to their stories about traveling, this gives me back the traveler feelings I always had. It is like traveling in my own living room :-)

About couchsurfing at all: I think it´s a very good idea. It´s a nice thing to meet people in this way.
And I like the idea to "give" somebody and to "take" from anybody else. The world would be better if it would be more like this:-)

Interessen

I like to have good conversations about different things. To talk is something nice to know more about people, countries and cultures. It opens my mind. Also to know about other people's opinions and ideas helps me to focus more and to organzie my thinkings.
I like to meet people and listening to their stories.
I love to eat (local) food:-) (but vegetarian), it´s very important for me and I am happy if I try something delicous.
I like activities (like bicycling, walking, swimming) and to get to my physical limits.
I want to share this love I feel inside me.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like stories about normal people, just about their life. No matter where they come from and what they have to tell.
I like to read books about different cultures and about different views about life.
Music: Reggae, drum music, African Music, good music to dance

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I walk barefoot as soon as possible. I love this freedom!
The ocean is also something which amazes me all time.
I plant a tree with my lone hands.
I met people and still meet with a good and lovely heart.
But I also saw the other side of life, to feel lonely, to get disappointed, to meet people with bad thinkings. This was important as well and brought me to where am I right now.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I like to share everything what I like: walking around and show "my" world, drinking a good glass of red wine, eating together, talking, laughing...

Was ich mit Gastgebern teilen kann

I live together with my boyfriend (Boombay) from Belize and our two kids (Amira and Malik) in a small town. We have a very comfortable couchin our livingroom :-) And I am not too bad in cooking. I will enjoy all type of persons and learn something new from them.
