About Me
UPDATE: Currently on a 7-week trip around Eastern Europe and hoping to meet really cool people along the way!
I don't look my age. Somewhere along the way, my body became confused between my physical age and how I should look. I assure you, though, that I am indeed the age on my profile.
I'm curious about things that are happening around the world and believe there is no better way (besides Google) to learn about them through people's stories. Everything should be experienced at least once.
I enjoy traveling, find touts annoying, but derive joy from trolling them.
Also, getting tipsy is fun. And it gets even more fun when everyone else is too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm actually new to Couchsurfing but registered a while back. Hoping to meet new people and friends along the way. The added bonus of free accommodation is really quite secondary. Stories and friends first.
Interests
Reading tech news - cause I think one day, tech will actually make my life better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in a village in India for 2 weeks.
This was actually part of a community service project to build a library, but ended up being so much more. We bought milk from cow owners, taught the kids the Macarena, and briefly helped one villager start a lucrative alcohol pop-up store.
Of course, there was the mandatory gazing at stars every night, bathing with cold water from the well, and having a smartphone that could only play music.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can’t think off the top of my head a useful trick I could teach you, but if you’re game, I’ll be more than happy to share with you some of my better travel accidents.
Or if you’re interested to know about what it’s like living in a country where chewing gum is banned, I’d be happy to share.
Oh, maybe you'd like to learn a bit of Singaporean English (Singlish)?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Little tidbits about a tiny island called Singapore and probably parts of Asia. Some slightly awkward instances have happened during some of my travels, if Asia fascinates you, maybe I could help shed some light.
