My name is Kaiwen Liu, I was born in Beijing, China but grew up in the UK, my English speaking friends call me Kai, and here I am, to be taking my first steps into the Couchsurfing community,

Growing up I had the sounds in the HuTong’s of Beijing, and the rolling landscape of England. I'm deeply passionate about exploring the world, and how it may echo with my soul and body that carries with my every step.🪁

As a new member without references yet, I want to express my genuine respect for the spirit of this community. It is so familiar in ways to me how this isn't just about finding a place to stay; it's about the connection and the shared values of meaningful, sustainable travel. I feel a resonance in these practices, and I hope to learn how you approach your own life.

My big adventure is finally happening! I will be using Couchsurfing for my very first trip to South America, which I've been dreaming of for years. I'll be traveling from September 2025 to March 2026, and I'm hoping to meet fascinating hosts like you along the way.
Im keen to be a respectful, and considerate guest in all aspects. I'm mindful of my energy and water use, and I avoid single-use plastics. I'd be delighted to cook a traditional Beijing dish for you with local ingredients, help with chores, or share stories over a cup of tea 🍵. Most of all, I'm looking forward to creating lasting memories and perhaps building a lasting friendship.
