About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ჩვენ გვიხარია ცხოვრება :)

ABOUT ME

I have been spending some time working abroad and travelling around the Causasus region and just returned to my hometown a few months ago. I try to avoid being frantically busy as much as possible thus saving my energy for encounters with people from all over the world and occasional travels (whenever my budget allows them).
I am an engineering student btw :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting. Surfing. Having a good time whilst filling my imaginary world-map by travelling and gathering new stories and experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Basically I've been familiar with CS for quite a while, though without having my own account. In every flat share I lived so far, we used to host friends, their friends or travellers we ran across.

As for surfing, travelling through Turkey, from Trabzon to Istanbul in December 2010 was one of my best Couchsurfing-experiences so far.

Interests

anything that has to do with music, e.g. listening, playing (drums for me, please :) ) attending concerts, parties and festivals (preferably smaller ones).
When visiting new places, I try to catch the local spirit - that means rather visiting a bazaar, a school or any other authentic place that doing a sightseeing tour.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm not focused on a specific genre, whatever fits my mood is perfectly ok. I regularly visit record stores and, if possible, buy lots of music on vinyl. My collection tells, I'm more the Funk, Soul and EDM kinda person, but who wants to tie oneself down to that...?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

'Shatiloba' Folk Festival in the Caucasian Mountains

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty much into languages - Trying to learn a few basic phrases in the local language is an absolute must, whereever I travel.
I also aquired some basic experience in teaching German language, so feel free to ask.
