Overview
About Me
I’m a geography student focusing on hydrology, currently at Peking University and doing an exchange at UTokyo. I really enjoy backpacking — I’ve travelled through all provinces of China and quite a few places in Eastern and Southeast Asia (as far as my budget allows!).
My travel interests overlap with my research: I love seeing how climate and natural conditions shape local lifestyles, and how people adapt. I enjoy walking through different cities, trying local food, and exploring cafés wherever I go. I like walking along rivers, stopping by small cafés, and trying to understand how different cities “feel.” I enjoy conversations — daily life, culture, or random observations — but I’m also very independent if you’re busy:)
As a guest, I’m clean, respectful, and easy-going. I speak English comfortably for both daily life and deeper conversations. I keep things tidy, respect cultural differences, and can help with chores if needed. I can’t host yet, but I try my best to be someone you’d feel comfortable welcoming into your home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel around with getting to know more people, so I can get more local perspectives rather than merely a fresh eye.
