Hi, I'm Kai!

I've lived in Singapore for more than 20 years and now I'm located in Brisbane, Australia.
I've done a few short-term traveling and to be honest, not a lot of Couchsurfing experience as a traveler or host. Definitely looking forward to changing that!

I'm currently pursuing my studies at QUT as a Mass Communications student and I live with my roomie Michelle, who works as a counsellor for asylum seekers. Our place is LGBT and vegetarian friendly!

My first experience with Couchsurfing was really unexpected!

I met a friend of a friend when I was in Heraklion, Greece, who happens to be a long-time host. I then packed my stuff from the hostel I was staying at and went to his place where I stayed longer than intended.

We did not know we had a mutual friend at first; I still feel amazed at how small we can make the world feel with such connections.

Kostas is one of the nicest people I've met in my life and I would like to pass on the kindness and inspiration I've received to as many people as I can.

Also, great way to meet locals! :)

Surfing!! (Bad at it, but love it!) Hanging out with friends, walking aimlessly around town, video games, singing, dancing, eating, cycling and other fun stuff :)

And of course, traveling!
