Greetings!

"Well here goes nothing..." is the phrase I said when I first joined this community and a phrase I find myself saying pretty often in my everyday life, and it has served me well to say the least. I am a Colorado native, but I currently live in Germany playing professional basketball. Traveling and living abroad are big passions of mine.

I am a very openminded person and believe in the power of perspectives and culture. Experiencing different cultures has always been something I strive for and seeing how others experience and view the world around us is very important to me.

PHILOSOPHY:

Surround yourself with good people who make you better. Laugh as much as you can. Grow everyday. Do what makes you happy and ignore the haters. Be mindful of your actions. Work hard. Eat better, feel better. Love is love and the world always needs more of it.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

A friend of mine led me to this community. I love to travel and have a hard time staying in one place for too long. Being a recent college grad I am not exactly swimming in the dolla dolla bills y'all. So when I heard of CS, it really sparked my interest. Having a place to rest my head and then also having the ability to meet new people all over the world in the process seemed like a win win to me. Sign me up!

I came to Europe to backpack around for a month or so and ended up getting a contract to play basketball professionally in Germany, have been here for 6 months!

I love to learn new things and in 2019 we have the power to learn new things at our fingertips. I wrote my whole masters dissertation on the power of YouTube and how is transforming the way we learn things.
