Hello!

My name is Kailyn and I love to travel! One of my favorite years to date was one I spent backpacking through South America, Australia and Southeast Asia. Our world is just so beautiful.

Now I am teaching full time at an American International School just outside of Seoul. I love it, as it allows me to travel a different part of the world over my breaks. I also get to work at an amazing school with very talented and fun teachers who share the same passion for exploration and teaching that I do.

During the week I am pretty mellow (read boring!). I am usually working out after school, cooking, drinking red wine, reading, practicing yoga and meeting friends for dinner. On the weekends I like exploring the area, going dancing, seeing shows, and attending the various festivals that always seem to be occurring in Korea!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I was in Argentina, I met some fabulaous ladies that I am still friends with. They were active members of Couchsurfing and I attended some meet ups with them. I had a blast! Everyone was so fun and hospitable. I felt super welcomed and loved that I got more of a "local" experience than I would have otherwise. I would love to pass along the same experience to others. I also think it is a great way to meet people from all over the world, even if I am not the one traveling.

I backpacked Torres del Paine in Patagonia, carrying all my own equipment and food for 5 days. The landscape and conditions were truly amazing :)
