ABOUT ME

Hello world.
I am Ming from Hong Kong which a lovely city.
I was a postgraduate student in physics and did research in astronomy but now i quit. I am neither a genius nor a nerd, just curious enough.
I am having a working holiday in Ireland this year and currently living in Dublin.
I am having a lot of travel in Europe soon, besides I would like to visit Egypt and the South America, let's see.
I am easy-going, open-mined and I think the most important, carefree haha.
I love traveling and meeting new friends.
It not the place you go but the people you meet, because after years of your trip, what you remember is usually not the beautiful scenery but how nice the people are.
Meeting new friends is the best way to know the city.

Interests

Sports - I like many sports especially those with ball.
I love tennis most and my favorite player is Roger Federer. I am going to all the Grand Slam and getting his autograph haha.
Always enjoy watching football and tennis.

Hiking - because I can get away from the busy city life. Getting close to the nature is the best way to relax.

Ukulele - I would describe myself as a dummy in music but I love this instrument very much. I am learning ukulele now and practicing it everyday. Hope one day I could play and sing any songs with you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I visited Zhou Zhuang, the so-called Venice of China, it was so late that there was no transport or taxi to go back the city. I found the police to help me and they called an unlicensed "taxi" for me. I knew I shouldn't trust anyone but took the risk. Luckily I went back to the city safely but I was charged more than I negotiated.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you Cantonese, the language I speak.
Cantonese is different from Mandarin Chinese.
I could teach you how to write in traditional Chinese, the genuine Chinese words. Personally I hate the simplified one haha.
