About Me

I am an international student from Kazakhstan currently studying at University of Wisconsin-Madison, 3rd year. I am very easy-going, absolutely love to travel, even in the worst(weather/financial/moral)conditions, I like to learn from someone(besides professors and TA's), especially like learning to cook from my mom or super friends. I'm a LISTENER and could always support a person even if it doesn't help him/her a lot, but still eases the pain. Since my family believes I could benefit from getting US education and I have less than 2 years left, I am spending a lot of time devoting it for studying for my major and trying to get maximum out of liberal arts classes as well(since that's also the America's charm education system!).Besides of everything, traveling is not just getting yourself out of comfort zone, but it transforms you to a new fresh person and helps maintaining positive and optimistic thinking. And to finish, I love socializing with people, especially when they are masters of motivating and encouraging people to move from dead point. inspiring and succesfull.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't done CS so far yet, if something comes up, it will be the first time. I believe that CS is not only about saving some money on trip, I can assume that CS helps with adapting to a new place and learning new things quickly for travelers, getting out of comfort zone, making new friends globally and be free thinker/planner of own plans. I also believe CS can help travelers with getting used to local cultures, giving some general hints on how the city or area operates.

Interests

I like talking about education(could compare my country's education to U.S. one). Since I am studying abroad in United States, I love learning more about American culture and American education system.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are Prestige and Imitation Game. Prestige since it is one of the best creatures by Christopher Nolan and Imitation Game since that's the first movie I watched in America, New York's best movie theaters. I also like reading books, I recently finished reading the 19th century's Russian Literature biggest books and even though it is very psychologically intense and in some way confusing/convoluted in writing, it still reflects today's most common relationship issues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer, doing 3 days in a row to hike at different peaks at Southern Kazakhstani Mountains more than 10km upword-sloping walk each day
