ABOUT ME

We are Kaitlin and Brian. We've been traveling around the world since May 2011. We have fallen in love with New Zealand and have been living here since October 2011 but are soon going to be making our way back to the States to see family and friends.

PHILOSOPHY

We are both Outdoor Educators by profession and try to live our lives as such even when not working. We are inspired by the natural world and feel very comfortable living out of backpacks. We try to always be open, friendly, and compassionate and believe that the more good we put into the world, the more we get back in return.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're still relatively new to CS and have only surfed twice so far as we tend to help exchange more regularly. We are excited about becoming more in CS, especially when we get back to the states and are able to host surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once in Madrid, Spain and once in Paris, France. Both were very great experiences!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We've traveled through parts of Europe, Southeast Asia and New Zealand. We've hiked in the snow-capped mountains of Switzerland, spent the day caring for and trekking on an elephant in Thailand, hiked on a glacier in New Zealand, and had many other adventures all around the world. Most importantly, we've made friends who will last a lifetime.
