New to Couchsurfing ~ July 2022

Hi! I am from San Francisco and have been living in Spain for the past three years teaching English.

I am very active. I absolutely love hiking, going for bike rides, surfing, going to the beach, exploring nature and trying new sports. I also am into Photography - learning more every day.

I appreciate sarcasm and a punny joke. If I make one and you don't laugh I will laugh at myself, so don't worry haha. I appreciate good conversation, making real connections, wonderful food, contemplating life while watching the sunset, my morning coffee, and a good beer. I am very clean and respectful, so I will make sure to take care of your space.

I think it is important in life to get excited about the little things :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Some of the best connections I have formed with people have been thanks to my travel experiences and I want to continue connecting. When I travel, I tend to gravitate to the local culture and understanding the locals the best I can. I would love to learn from you, and share my experiences and company with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. I love all music (except for American Country music haha) but I am very into indie music at the moment. My favorite artist of all time is probably Jack Johnson because I grew up listening to his music and it's all great vibes! From living in Spain I have also become interested in discovering more Spanish music and lesser known artists outside of the mainstream reggaeton.

Movies. I have infamously not seen many well known movies...yet. One of my favorites is The Sound of Music, which inspired a solo trip to Salzburg a few years ago.

Books. (I really need to keep a list). I enjoy reading memoirs and one that I read semi-recently that stuck with me was Education.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked through Yosemite National Park and got to see the sunset and sunrise across Half Dome. Unbelievable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am learning ukelele/guitar, surfing, and some Italian. I love learning new things and languages.
