Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend suggested the site because she has used CS while traveling around the world. So, I thought couch surfing would be an easier way to meet great people and really get a local experience, instead of googling what to do in the cities we visit.

I try to spend as much time outside, even if it's reading a book on the patio. Colorado has great hikes that I've taken advantage of whole living here. Cooking, it's a favorite hobby of mine, it comes naturally and I just enjoy doing it. Been trying my hand at baking, it okay. I like eating the final product, but I always make a mess.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading, currently I am trying to expand my list. I have been stuck in the same genre. I recently read The Martian, reread 3 Harry Potter books, and currently reading 11/22/63. Movies: Does it come in 3D? I'm obsessed with movies in 3D. Sherlock Holmes (the movies and TV show), Orange is the new black, Pirates of the Caribbean is an all time favorite, Moulin Rouge, the man from UNCLE

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am always surprised how well I can get around foreign cities with a map, but unable to do so at home.
