I am a recent aquatic biology graduate of UCSB and am very excited to have the time to start venturing off and exploring new places before grad school. I've always tried to make travel a priority, but being buried in my books the past few years it has been hard to get much in.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I was recommended by a friend who traveled through Italy and said it was the best decision she made! I love meeting new people and being truly submerged in different cultures. Couchsurfing seems like just the way to make that happen.

As a marine biology major I love all things outdoors! Scuba diving is one of my favorite activities, but I also love to surf, hike, bike, kayak, and camp. You can also catch me for a night on the town to dance and drink with friends:)

As far as music is concerned I'm not hard to please. I love anything from classic rock, to blues, to reggae. My favorite movie is Fight Club, and recently I've been enjoying Stephen King books.

This summer I participated in an internship on the island of Moorea doing research on coral reef resilience. I got to spend so much time diving on some of the most amazing and untouched coral reefs. It was truly a humbling experience. Check out the video I made!
