I am a California native who traveled to the Southern United States when I was 17, following the death of my adoptive mother and brother.
To Alabama I ventured to live with my biological mother, who fell very short of what I needed for "stability" thus I have made my own way since with the aid of friends and good people.

I am drug free, I rarely drink and I do not obtain a police record nor tolerate violence (EVER!) or cursing of any kind(near children or elders).

I am passionate in regards to life, positivity, nature and passion. We only have a single chance to make this time we have as meaningful as possible to ourselves and all others surrounding us.

I am a musician, a writer and currently work as a server in a fine dining restaurant. My ultimate goal, I have not quite decided- therefore I am traveling to fulfill my soul's burning question.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing for as simple of a single reason - to live.

I am young while I am aware that these years will pass by like lightning. It is not forever we live this journey, and not forever I will not be so set in my ways as to open my horizons to anything else.

To travel and to experience this earth the way it was meant to, in the best possible way- I do not believe we as humans are meant to sit behind a cubicle all day, only to arrive home to a place we rarely spend time, only to repeat the same routine.

I am alive to experience, to learn and to embrace all that is foreign and new.

To sit awake all hours with a stranger and speak of passions, life and purpose; what they believe and why. To leave everlasting imprints on a soul, just as I will carry them in my heart and mind.
To create music with others and to connect via friendship and to experience things not all allow themselves the chance to experience.

This is why I am on Couch Surfing.org, to live.
To love, to smile, to learn, to listen, to grow and to continue with a full heart of culture and experience.

Interests

My interests vary a great deal.

I have played Guitar 6 years and music is a very, very large part of who I am.
I leap with the chance to listen and watch others perform their talents and passions, even if not my preference- I listen and appreciate.

I am also a writer.
I have been published in 1 book and have non-profit worked for online music zines to review albums, interview etc.

Smaller yet genuine interests of mine are as follows -
Traveling (what gave that away), Cooking (Breakfast, Desserts and Italian especially), A good cup of coffee, creating anything I can get my hands on (drawing, sewing, painting, sculpting, etc.), The Ocean, Hiking/Walking, Live music shows, Photography, Yoga, New Cultures, Nature, the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been through an awful lot in my life,
from deaths in my family to moving across country at a tender age only to find that what I thought was here, was not.
Leaving me to fend for myself.

In this, I have maintained an incredible balance of focus, mental health, motivation, passion and joy.

I do not partake in drugs, I rarely drink, and I surround myself with all that will better me and aid me in growth.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I am willing to share/offer with hosts begins with my personality.

Personality -
I am extremely positive, respectful, organized, tidy and helpful. My mouth will never fall short of, "Can I help you with anything? Dishes, Vacuuming, conversation?" and you will never have to ask that I pick my things up as I am always minimal, and clean.

Household-
I am willing offer any sort of appropriate housework involving mopping, sweeping, dishes, vacuuming, dusting, gardening, cooking, babysitting, the list goes on so long as all is valid and understood.

Food/Money-
I am willing to offer light groceries (Fruits, Vegetables, Pasta) as well as to cook full meals.. I am not in a place to offer money.
