My friends and family would say about me that I'm a friendly welcoming person and that I'm generous. But they would also say that when I want something, I make my way to have it.
All of this would be quite true but I can also be shy and stubborn sometime...
I try to be as open-minded as I can and look for happiness, serenity and a good slice of nature !

PHILOSOPHY

Try to have the life you are dreaming of and not the one that have been dictated by your social environment. Don't fear to be yourself and follow your instinct.
This is a very difficult way but how interesting !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The few experiences I had in Canada were so great. All people were very welcoming and trying to make me feel confortable in their house. It was great to meet people and share with them a different way of life, chitchat about everything.

I also guest people I just met by luck in a festival but it was not with CS

Interests

I'm really interested by ecological problems and sustainable development. I try to use eco-friendly products in my daily life and want to learn a more about the agricultural way of life (by doing some woofing) and how to be become self-sufficient.

I really like hiking, scubadiving, photography, reading. Enjoy going to the cinema and meet my friend around some good food. Yes, I'm fond of food ! To bad for me !!!
I also like to discover new kind of music from all around the world.

I would also like to learn about first people and their way of life because I think they can teach us a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

World music (didgeridoo, throat singing, indian music...), pop (Muse, Florence and the Machine, Gossip), rock (Bon Jovi), classical music, Massive Attack, Dead Can Dance, Jhonny Cash and so on. Last but not least : everything that want to make me dance especially ABBA !!!

I used to go 3 times a week to the cinema so can't really pick one. Maybe the last good film I saw was "Drive" but I also enjoy watch a good bollywood film (Devdas, Om Shanti Om...)!

About reading...hmmm, let me think... it can be romance , fantasy, science-fiction, thriller.
The sadest one but also the most beautiful "L'équilibre du monde" (A fine balance) by Rohinton Mistry. I really like this indian author whose books are full of humanity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a boat trip when I was in Reunion island (Indian Ocean)to observe whales : that was magical ! I also had the good luck to swim with 4 dolphins that same day. I wish I could be stuck in that moment.

Skydiving (the first and only) in France, diving in the Red Sea, hiking among rice fields in North Vietnam, the Icefield Parkway in the Canadian Rockies, a sweat lodge in Ontario with a native elder... and so many other experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you didgeridoo and the circular breathing. I'm not a real good player but that can be a start.
I can teach you how to cook a good "cari" (the mauritian word for curry) or another mauritian meal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately, it is very difficult for me to welcome you to my place because it's so small (only one room/ living-room + kitchen + bathroom). But I will gladly give you a tour of Nantes, have a drink or anything else that may help you during your trip.

If you really have no other options, nowhere to sleep, I could welcome you for one night but that would be for girls only. Sorry guys, I hope you understand.
