ABOUT ME

By day, I am a molder of impressionable minds and expounder of great truths. By night, I, er, am slightly more laid back. Seriously, I teach and do research in economics at the ANU. That takes up a lot of time. But, when I can manage it, I try to hang out (literally...) and learn new things. I like being around people, animals, and myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Getting to know folks and sharing the bounty of upholstery. It's great to just meet for coffee and talk to someone you don't know but can learn something from; I guess that's what I do all the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Slept a few weeks on a yet-to-be roommate's couch; more than sufficient time in European hostels; and plenty of dormitories-from-hell experiences.
