Sobre mí

CURRENT MISSION

Fleetingly, exploring all. Traveling this place with no sense of past, present or future.

ABOUT ME

I am eclectic, a titillating energetic spasm of the best kind. I live everyday to the fullest, I am overly occupied with the now, time is imagined. The only time to be concerned over is your own.

I adore, love, absorb nature. I am at home charging through a forest, splashing down a stream, tumbling down a hill, trekking through the unconquered wilderness.

Urban exploration also, is a captivating experience. Discovering and appreciating the lost and depreciated amongst our overwhelmingly murderous urban villas.

A kid, a man, a strikingly humanoid yet inhuman organism, an oxymoronical paradox, a permanently temporary form. The best kind of person. Earthy, chilled, completely relaxed, nothing gets under my skin.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life in whatever way suits me for the day. My biggest pet peeve is when someone says "what would so-and-so (usually my parents) think about you doing that?"

I feel that while others may care about me, and I them, my life is 100% for my enjoyment and I base my decisions on that. I do not decide what to do based on what others may think, I do what I want, when I want. I live entirely for the now, everyday is the only day.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I flew into Las Vegas for EDC 2011 (A massive three day rave, over 250,000 unique visitors) and slept on a park bench the first night.

The next day was the first day of EDC and I had no way to get there as of yet, I found a ride on craigslist from a group of guys who had driven up from Tuscon and spent the next three days riding to and from EDC with them.

From there, I hitch-hiked down to Phoenix and then spent three nights/days homeless in Phoenix exploring the city and taking in all it had to offer for a budget of $5, it was an amazing time.

I then flew to Charleston to visit one of my best long-time friends, and got sick of her and her roommates (it was a rough time for the two of us but we're really good at not caring about the past so we were at it again in a few days :D) and set off on my own after the fourth night. I then proceeded to hitch-hike and live homeless around Charleston for the better part of three days with again, less than $10 and then flew back home to Hawaii.

Upon returning home my tired feet were looking forward to there well deserved rest, only to find that my friends had for some reason not come to the airport to pick me up. I had lost my cell-phone in Las Vegas and iPod in Charleston so my now broke, phone-less, music-less and exhausted self set out on the journey home across the mountains to Kaneohe. Three hours later, with my legs nearly giving out on me I succumbed and stopped at a store to call a cab, knowing my roomies would pick it up for me when I made it home at 3am that morning.

All in all, it was a very great trip and an amazing learning experience. I plan to do something similar again next summer.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

My mind is a vast compendium of random knowledge, probe it and see what comes out. I can listen better than a rock when you're speaking, and talk more until my jaw falls off if you so desire. There is no end to what I know, and no end to what I do not know.

I believe in being a lifelong learner and also a lifelong teacher.
