I am a 20-year-old university student from Scottsburg, Indiana, USA, currently spending a semester abroad in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It has always been my dream to see Europe, and so far I have greatly enjoyed traveling to the great cities I have always read about. While I usually travel alone, I greatly enjoy meeting new people and learning about different perspectives and cultures.

I study Law and Public Policy, in addition to Economics. I am greatly interested in politics (I can answer any questions about American politics :) and history. In my free time, I love reading and playing video games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will only be in Europe for a few more weeks so I would like to make the most of my time here. Of course, as a student I am on a pretty restrictive budget.

Teach: I have a lot of knowledge about the American political system and American history, and love to answer questions people may have about Trump (even though I DID NOT vote for him), Congress, or America in general.

Learn: I absolutely love learning languages, it is a huge passion of mine. I also love hearing how people from other countries perceive of their own culture and history. I am really down for any conversation.
