ABOUT ME

I seek the experience, meet interesting people, make new friends. I love playing music and improvise with fellow musicians. Lately i've been a homebody in Spokane and am finding a peace in planting roots and hosting.Though the travel itch is consistently engraved deep in my spirit.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in magic and the divine river that we all flow in. I strive to be a more compassionate human being amidst the chaos and to keep the spark alive within the darkness. I'd say I resonate most with a Taoist philosophy and try to cultivate equanimity within my being with a spice of zest when the occasion calls for it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been hosting a lot in Spokane, WA. I love this website and the philosophy behind it. Most of the people I have met here have been exceptional.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I went to Afghanistan in my reckless youth, my Afghani friend AJ, whom I met at a local book store, told me about this website. Afterwards I started using couch surfing in Turkey and then throughout Eastern Europe. I also had the pleasure of being able to host people during my stay in Italy. Now, i host people in Spokane. I have met so many great people and have cultivated deep friendships. This site truly provides and I have experienced a different depth to these countries because of CS. Thanks CS!!

I love many kinds of music. Depends on the mood really. Some favorite books are Sometimes A Great Notion, Dune, Steppenwolf, The River Why. Some favorite movies are Contact, HER, Dogville.

During my travels, I have taught guitar, and some yoga. I like to share massages and think there should be more consentual human affection exchange. I live to learn and share knowledge. I would love to learn more culinary arts, music, sustainable living practices.
