I grew up in San Antonio, TX where I loved going to dancehalls and events such as the rodeo and fiesta. After highschool, I moved to Cleveland, TN to attend college at Lee University. There I was a member in the sorority Zeta Chi Lambda and worked part time as I pursued a degree in mathematics. After three short years, I graduated cum laude and began planning the wedding of my dreams. Shane and I married in the fall of 2015 and two days later we left for our extended honeymoon. We explored New Zealand and Fiji before moving to Melbourne, Australia for a year.
Now we are living in Chattanooga, TN and traveling as often as we while paying off our student loans.

I LOVE traveling and would go on more trips given the resources. Couchsurfing would allow me to save on accommodation costs but also to gain the locals perspective. I consider it to be a cultural exchange because as I gain cultural insight from a generous host, I give my own experience and background of the south.
