About Me
CURRENT MISSION: To engage with the mystery of other people
ABOUT ME:
I recently graduated from college with a degree in journalism and a creative fiction minor. While looking for jobs, I am traveling to learn more about the world, myself and most importantly, other people.
Most of my travel has been in the US and the Caribbean, though I did work for a non-profit in rural Nicaragua for quite a few months. I love being outside in nature — hiking, biking, swimming — taking advantage of whatever the environment has to offer.
If you need a book recommendation, I am your girl. I also can cook a wonderful meal, even for the vegans of the world!
If you were hosting me, I would love to hangout but I can also keep to myself. I ride the line between introverted and extroverted, which makes me easy to get along with. In terms of maintenance , I am extremely low. I can sleep on a rock, though I'd prefer pretty much anything else.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite thing in the world is to have interesting conversations with other people. I strive to live outside of my comfort zone and constantly challenge my own biases and beliefs. I am couchsurfing to share moments of life with total strangers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Chinandega, Nicaragua, while working for a non-profit in 17 different rural communities. My life consisted of living in a two bedroom house with 14 women, no ac or hot water, and one portable stove plate. My work consisted of partnering with villages to help them improve their quality of life and obtain basic necessities like clean, potable water. It was an adventure, to say the least.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach about literature, writing, cooking and journalism, among a few other odd lessons I've picked up along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good company, stories, conversation and the ability to cook a delicious meal
