ABOUT ME

lately i feel as though there is a new way of living just waiting to be discovered by all of us who feel dissatisfied with what is currently passing as reality...

i get images of cities emptying out, people connecting more, moving more, learning more about alternate ways of creating a life that works for the whole human, our communities, and the planet.

i love (and work in) science, technology, and education related areas, so i imagine us finding new ways of using these tools to serve us better in living with the land in a respectful, co-created relationship. this implies learning to listen deeper, finding new ways of responding to our environment, and new ways of placing ourselves in it.

i suppose i am passionate about how we *see* and *think* about ourselves, and how that alters the way we engage with the world.

in terms of practical lifestyle: i'm a vegaquarian, don't drink alcohol or do drugs, and love to teach meditation to those who'd like to experience their days in increasingly rewarding ways... particularly corporates and scientists with fine minds who may not necessarily have experimented much with more right-brained pursuits :)

am probably more introvert than extrovert. avid reader. thinker. muser. this doesn't stop me cherishing shared moments with friends (especially with tasty food and the outdoors) but does mean i don't do pubs, parties and noisy group gatherings very often :)

PHILOSOPHY

at the moment it is about learning to correctly read and respond to the truth of any moment so that harmonious action and motion is the bulk of my daily experience... this feels *really* good when i get it right :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

previously i had a fixed abode just outside of Sydney city and enjoyed connecting with those on the move :) now i am preparing to get more mobile via some housesitting adventures as a new way to explore more of my own beloved country.

so far i have hosted only, but am looking forward to trying out the surfing side of things in the next year or so :)

on one of the online communities i hang out in, we have recently discussed how hard it is to pin down this topic when you are a person that is interested in everything! that is why i call myself a professional generalist (or synthesiser)...

i read, study and participate in so many things like a constant moveable feast...

this year has been about transformational life coaching, online communities, supporting teacher professional development, science education, healing as it relates to sustainability and right living, shamanism, breathwork, and deeply connecting with many completely amazing and talented people who inspire me to want to meet so many more!!!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

wow... most of these for me occurred in the inner realms :) lots of eco-journeys to inner landscapes

in the outer reality i have had some pretty remarkable connections with animals, including direct communication experiences... through this i have learned that like humans, animals are each individuals too... for example, i may get along with one snake just dandy but have nothing in common with another one so nothing can be assumed until a connection has been established (or not!)

nature in general is the highlight of my existence and i often wonder how it is so many of us end up in concrete boxes for the bulk of our working lives

i am qualified in meditation facilitation, energetic healing, holistic beauty, training, and business/technology/project management, with additional training in astrology, holistic counselling, shamanism, breathwork, life coaching and a heap of IT related things... *loads* of experience in organisational matters such as project and change management, business systems, and more.

i am very sensitive to how people orient themselves in their own heads, and how this impacts their performance in business and in life.

i have a particular knack for problem solving in the personal-transpersonal and/or spiritual realms - perhaps because it is these spaces that i have spent most of my time whilst going about my daily business... people with something going on requiring an energy-shift or perceptual change to alter their external lives seem to find their way to me from time to time although i don't advertise myself in that way...

i also have a close relationship to body-oriented approaches to managing health and energy
