I’ve always loved to travel and have been interested in learning new cultures and meeting people from different backgrounds. Originally, I come from Poland where I grew up. I lived in Germany for a short period of time and now I’m living in USA where I have a full time job at a university teaching art and design. I’m also an artist and love to travel to places where I can see art, meet artists, and make my own art or show it in exhibition spaces. Whenever possible I combine my professional (art) interested with travel for leisure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My goal while traveling, is to meet people/locals who can show me around the places they are a part of so that I can learn first hand the culture and people and enjoy the cultural immersion.

I also would like to host others who come to/pass by my area (North Florida and South Georgia). I can show them around and introduce to American culture from the European perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just recently, I played a solo for flute accompanied by a pianist on stage in a concert after having a break of twenty years!
