I'm a student working on a doctorate in anthropology. I enjoy good stories, the people who tell them, traveling, dancing, the ocean, making art, afternoon naps (in hammocks), fishing, reading, acoustic guitar jam sessions, and a good pint of beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently climbed a peak in Fiordland, New Zealand. I wasn't in as good of a shape as I probably should have been, so the climb was a bit tough. But standing on top of a mountain and knowing that the only thing I used to help me get there was my own two legs? Nothing like it.
