ABOUT ME

I was born in Venezuela, moved to the States when I was 10, and have been here ever since (except for when I'm not). I love food, dancing, culture, rugby, friends, drinks, adventures, traveling, etc, etc, etc. In the professional sphere, I'm a very devoted to international community development, with a particular emphasis on microfinance. I like to think I'm open minded, a party in a box, and bordering on annoyingly liberal.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel a particularly strong imperative to foster the kind of change that puts lesser-developed communities at the forefront of development, through it building a more equitable global society.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was part a lot of absurdly fun meet ups and traveling adventures when I was living in Cochabamba, and now that i am back in San Francisco, I am definitely willing to show other CSers around. I am a particular connoisseur of the Mission and Castro if you are interested :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to a few Cocha Couch Surfing meet ups that have been really fun, and have also been able to meet a few travelers passing through!

I love eating, being part of culturally opening experience, adventures, shenanigans, drinking/dancing, and last BUT not least RUGBY!!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies: Cidade de Deus, Amelie, Snatch, Sin Noticias de Dios, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Forest Gump, Y Tu Mamá También, etc, etc.

I like really bad TV: Family Guy, Reno 911!, Roseanne, Weeds, The Office, but please don't judge me for that.

As for books I love the Count of Monte Cristo, Bossypants, Banker to the Poor, Angels and Demons, The Giver, East of Eden, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.

Music: tops are hip hop and mostly anything Latin, but I'll listen to anything, except maybe heavy metal.
