Getting back into the Arts after losing my leg.

ABOUT ME

Been involved in the Arts for most of my life, was a professional stagehand for 30 years, did a little ballet, candle making, wood carving, stone work & Renaissance Festivals. Very happily married for 25 years till my beloved passed (I'm still wear her ring) have 1 son into SCA & blacksmithing which is a joy as we come from 5 generations of blacksmiths to the Baron de Bismarck in Germany. Been at stained glass for 35 years -http://www.flickr.com/photos/kalspics/ . Have traveled almost all 50 states & all of Central America. Enjoy gardening, but lost my leg a while ago & really hoping to get out more finally this year.

PHILOSOPHY

Am a spiritual person though not engaged in any organized sect, have a strong personal sense of honor, my father told me that at the end of the day, regardless of what you came home with, without that you came home with nothing.

Have hosted & met several surfers, all exceptionally enjoyable people!

BBQs, folk music, did radio for a while, have cats, enjoy country roads, played fiddle, mandolin & dobro till arthritis set in. Interested in sharing the personal enthusiasm of others appreciating the creative process.

Raised a mountain lion for a year before she retired to live with 5 wolves (loved dogs). Was a union Stagehand for 30 years meeting some wonderful entertainers. Walked the edges of a volcano when younger.

I have a newly built master bedroom upstairs, sleeps 4 or 5. Whirlpool tub for the back too. I can't get up there after my leg deal but I hear it's good :>)
