I am a 23 year old guy from the cold northern Europe - Helsinki Finland. At the moment I am an exchange student in Mexico City and planning to travel around Central America after my studies from May until July with my friend.

Back in Finland I study in the uni, work in a social media agency and enjoy life to the fullest. I like to describe myself as a spontanious and adventurous person who is eager to find new challenges in life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, seeing new places and travelling in the first place. In my opinion you learn so much from travelling. You learn stuff that the professors in the university or books just won't teach you.

I also like learning new languages and right now I´m learning Spanish. This is why I hope that couchsurfing would give me an opportunity to better my skills in Spanish.

兴趣

My interests include playing and listening to music (I play drums in a band back in Finland), gastronomy and craft beer. I love the sea and actually my newest passion is scubadiving which I started doing this spring. Hopefully I will have chances to do a lot more scubadiving during my travels.

I´m passionate about football (The "real" football). My favourite team is HJK, the Helsinki Football Club. I'm also a big fan of the English Premier League.

I love all kinds of good music, but I think my favourite bands fall into the category of indie music or rock n roll. My favourite bands/artists include Arctic Monkeys, Radical Face, Dropkick Murphys and The Hives.

I also love more classic rock, such as The Doors, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Also a big fan of hiphop, funk, punk and metal.

Favourite movie of all time must be Pulp Fiction for me and maybe Shutter Island as a close runner-up. I also love the nerdy stuff: Star Wars, LOTR, Game of Thrones etc.

I wish I had more time to read, used to do it much more when I was younger. Favourite book of all time: The Lord of the Rings.

Most definitely diving in the reef of Isla Cozumel in Mexico. The diversity of the life below the surface was just astonishing.
