ABOUT ME

Vegan music lover from Jyväskylä, Finland. I work at a local organic/vegan food store, play in a band and make my own music. I'm into all kinds of stuff, like physics, art and nature. I love eating. I haven't travelled that much on my own, though I did a bike trip through the Baltic states and Poland last year. I have a greenhouse in my yard.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not quite sure yet. That's one of my missions, trying to understand better the world around and inside myself. If you really want I can share you some of my thoughts about the universe.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: ambient, drone, hardcore, black metal, electronic, industrial, emotional music, noise... Some of of the artists I've been listening to lately include Zola Jesus, Burial Hex, Paysage D'Hiver, Cult Of Luna, Orchid, Burial and so on. I enjoy good music for the passion, feeling or danger it has, not for the genre it belongs to. I'm constantly exploring new artists and styles.
Movies: Studio Ghibli movies, 28 Days Later, Andrei Tarkovsky
Books: His Dark Materials trilogy, Watership Down, Brian Greene (author of the most interesting books on this planet)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One would be cycling to Poland and seeing all the amazing artists (like Lustmord, Vatican Shadow, KTL, Ben Frost and Kevin Drumm) at the Unsound festival.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make (raw) vegan snickers. That's pretty much it, I can also babble about music or physics or teach you how to play the drums badly. I like having meaningful chats with nice people who have weird ideas.
