I'm easy going most of the time. Doing what I can to be open minded, being a nice person in general and staying positive. .
Right now drifting through europe.
I always seem to be heading somewhere. In my mind or physically.. for good and bad I guess. Working at the moment on my presence, being present, being in the moment, being here and now. Very important for the well being...
I believe that people are basically good. There is always a thousand ways to see the same thing.
Don't take yourself too seriously. Actually, in general, you shouldn't take life too seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the idea of sharing like this!I always try to couchsurf when travelling. And offer my own couch when I can
More or less only good ones
I've started writing more and more last years. Maybe I'll write a book one day.
I'm also notoriously starting new instruments, which I really enjoy... On this trip I'm bringing a recorder and harmonica. The smaller the instrument the better. Trying to keep relatively light weight :)
Traveling of course. Why? It's ultimate spontaneity, which I guess in some sense is ultimate freedom, which is something I'm striving for. Actually traveling is not really the right word for it. Moving might better explain my feeling towards it. That could be both physically and mentally. Restless? Perhaps.
I'm thinking a lot about life in general and ones attitude towards it. I find people and peoples view of the world very interesting. That every single human being is another world can blow me away. All the ways we can lead our life! All the different things we find meaningful
- dumpster diving
- scuba diving
Music, Movies, and Books
Recent books I read and liked:
Catcher in the rye, The man in the high castle, Vägen till Klockrike, Den allvarsamma leken
I don't watch a lot of movies or listen to a lot of music at the moment. I don't mind, absolutely not, but I just don't find myself doing it. I'm Living a fairly analouge lifestyle at the moment I guess..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking Teheran to Berlin
Spending a week in silence in the monastery of Taizé in France
Skydiving and bungyjumping in New Zeeland
Doing a ten day Vipassana meditation course in Hyderabad, India.
Teach, Learn, Share
Something like alternative, self-sufficient living i find very compelling. Be it gardening, building, finding edible plants in the wild or dumpster diving I'm interested.
I'm always up for practicing my german...
Cooking is also nice to know... if you have some good recipes or the like.
I myself have experience working as a guitar teacher. Know some other instruments too fairly well..
I have quite a lot to say about time. Also about hitch-hiking..
