ABOUT ME

Hey I am Kal and currently work in the UK as a self employed Optometrist. I am UK born with Indian roots. Every year it gets too cold for me in the Winter so I migrate to warmer climates for 3 months a year and have done so for the last 10 yrs. I love to travel see places and experience different cultures.
I would like to think I am a nice , chilled guy with no stress....I generally can get on with a wide range of people. I love to out and party and have a few drinks...but also love to chill out sometimes too as balance is always good !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well at the moment I am gonna be travelling from Mexico to Colombia via Central America over 3 months. I am hoping that there will be some nice people that can host me and show me their country and teach me some spanish.
In the future I hope I can open up my home too and give a little back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to be CS virgin years ago lol!! Well I heard about this from a good friend of mine Geoff Tayner who couch surfed throughout his travels. At first I thought he was crazy staying at random peoples houses...lol. But after checking out this site I am warming to the idea. After all I think you can experience a country better staying with locals than you can as a tourist!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amongst the highlights of my travels....have to be Macchu Picchu Peru , climbed Kilimanjaro and taken part in the Rio carnaval in the sambadrome procession.
