About Me
Being comfortable slows down progress.
I started this account but never used it until now, I just got out of school so now i have time to teavle. I want to travel the world and learn about what brings people together and the different cultures behind the food we eat. Right now im working on my baking skills in hopes that its my next job. I want to wake up before the sun and make bread for some crazy reason.
Other then baking, I try to spend as much time as I can in the forrest or working on my artwork. Right now im figuring out how to make my painting set up a little more compact. I saw a person that had his entire kit in a mint tin.... he also made miniature paintings so it made it easy for him.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to do as much genuine travel as I can in my lifetime. I could easily get a hotel and look up where to go, but I dont see any fun or adventure on wasting all my money on that. I much rather meet people who share the same wonder lust as me and show me the places that make their eyes light up or tell me stories that bring a smile to their face. I want to see what brings people joy.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is Rumo. Its probably the only book that I cant fully explain becasue so mush happens in it. Its about a made up creature ( a wolperting) in a made up land (Zamonia) on his mission to find his silver thread.
I love all kinds of music equally. I mostly like live acoustic music because it reminds me of when I was a kid and my dad would play music all night while I painted.
My favorite movie (and book) is The Little Prince
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently heard about Chasm lake and its the most isolated lake in Colorado because the hike to it is so steep. When I went it was a little chilly at the base of the mountain but I was hiking straight up for about 3 miles I knew the weather was going to change up there. I bundled up and headed in, it was really nice until I got half way to the lake then it started to snow and the wind was so hard it hurt my face. I kept going though because I really wanted to see what this lake was all about.
I was walking along the side of a steep mountain about 1/2 a mile from my destination and I saw the side on the mountain start to shift... the snow was falling in big clumps instead of individual flakes so it wasn't sticking to the ground. It was the perfect condition for a avalanche. I decided to not risk getting stuck up there so I turned around and decided to go to the lake another time.
I figured I would make the best out of having to turn around and decided to run the entire way down. I fell through the knee deep snow a couple of times and almost hit my head on three rocks but I made it back down in 40 min.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach how to cook, draw or play guitar, coffee and the science behind making the perfect cup, backpacking, knitting or sewing, living on a budget
I would love to learn about the location I would be staying at, new languages/ traditions, more about yoga and spirituality, botany, really anything that interests someone else I would be interested in hearing about too
