ABOUT ME

I love to travel, explore, do things outside(hike, bike, ski, kayak, climb). I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2008, was on a Fulbright grant in Krakow for 9 months until November studying/researching public health, worked as a tour chaperone in Hawaii (for international high school students) from January-April, led a "Bike & Build" cross-country cycling trip from Florida to California in support of affordable housing from May-August, worked some random jobs in Chicago, worked as a ski instructor in Vail, led another bike trip down the Pacific coast...and now continuing to explore the world! current goal....trying to move to a place where I could enjoy the outdoors and continue improving myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I randomly started hosting couch surfers in 2009 after meeting one randomly in the streets of Krakow at about 2am. I spent the rest of my time in Krakow hosting and learning about people from all over and things they have done. I have to say that CS has changed my life and my perspective on it. I can' t wait to be in a position where I can begin hosting again.

Intereses

travel, outdoor pursuits, family, people, good food, cooking, anthropology, health, realizing "you are what you eat", learning languages, cuddling with my little brothers, being active, going to flea-markets in hopes of finding my stolen bike "Snowflake" , self-imrpovement

I could teach you Polish. :)
I'd like to learn about everything....I'd love to learn how to maintain bicycles, skis, learn a few words in a new language, form my own vegetable garden
