About Me
CURRENT MISSION
“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
ABOUT ME
Travel blogger (muzungutravel.com) and photographer.
In love with the Middle East and Africa, I finished Oriental and Arabic studies in Poland.
Open-minded, easy-going, know how to make people laugh.
PHILOSOPHY
"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.''
T.E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 My taste in music is strongly tied to movement, mood, and place. I love Afrobeats because I love dancing, music that makes it impossible to sit still. I also like desert blues & soulful sounds, and dark electronic.
🎬 I’m drawn to films that explore human psychology and moral ambiguity, but I also love historical dramas, fantasy and science fiction.
📚 I like literature that explores identity, memory, love, exile, absurdity, and the human condition, from classics to modernist.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved my whole life to Sierra Leone!
Teach, Learn, Share
Polish swearing lessons, home cooking (or a night out), laughter, and good company, plus genuine curiosity to get to know you and your city.
I don’t use Couchsurfing to save on hotels, and far from it. I do it for the experience: to meet people, spend time together, share stories, and build the kind of beautiful friendships I’ve been lucky to make in the past.
I love animals, and dogs are especially close to my heart. Please don’t feel neglected if I end up giving your little friend more attention than my wonderful host.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love sharing good conversations, home-cooked meals, and stories from the road. I’ve travelled extensively across Africa, where I’ve also lived, as well as the Middle East, and I’m always happy to exchange experiences, perspectives, and laughs. I enjoy cooking, especially traditional Polish dishes, and sharing a meal (and drink) is one of my favourite ways to connect.
