I am 31 years old, however, as have been told i look much younger than my real age:)
at the moment i am an instructor at university and i teach different courses in the field of humanity. as to my past i should say that i have been brought up in Sanandaj, Kurdistan north west of Iran, in a traditional Kurdish family with our own specific lifestyle, culture, customs and traditions somehow distinct from other parts of Iran.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

in our own region at times (of course scarcely) i meet visitors from other parts of the world and it was to my surprise that how far and irrelevant was their opinion about my country and city in advance of coming. Honestly speaking it was shocking to me how it comes that foreigners come to think in ways which don't meet the realities of our life and culture. So it prompted me to try to break these misconceptions and provide them with a real impression that they will have if they visit our country. And those foreigners after coming and experiencing were breathless!! How amazing and wonderful our country and city can be to a tourist taking into account geography, beautiful nature, rich culture and above all hospitable and quite friendly people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

There are many things which i can share with my would-be friends. I think everything in my city is so special and distinct that the overall view and impression they receive would be amazing for them. And the more they know about the background and underlying facts the more they would be surprised and excited.
Just to give a few examples:
Nature: Our nature in Iran is wonderful, full of high and green mountains, mesmerizing caves, beautiful waterfalls, old bridges and...
People: People here are quite different from other parts of the world, however they may not be able to communicate linguistically but they have much to say facially, so kind and so hospitable and passionate.
Historical Places: Since we boast of an ancient history and civilization, there are many signs in our region to prove that. Historical palaces, ancient houses each telling the story of our history, culture and life style in the past.
Nutrition: Also we claim distinction on culinary matters. eating in our city opens your mouth and appetite to exceptionally delicious and distinguished tastes.
