Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m a 26-year-old Indian student studying Computer Science and currently living in Lisbon, Portugal. I moved here to learn, grow, and experience life beyond code and classrooms. While I enjoy programming and problem-solving, what really excites me is meeting people from different cultures and hearing their stories.
I’d describe myself as calm, respectful, curious, and easy to get along with. I enjoy meaningful conversations, exploring new neighborhoods, trying local food, and going on long walks—especially in a city as beautiful as Lisbon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe travel is more meaningful when it’s about people, not just places. As an international student living in Lisbon, I want to connect with locals and fellow travelers, learn from different cultures, and experience the city beyond the typical tourist perspective.
For me, Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange, shared stories, and mutual respect. I enjoy meeting open-minded people, having good conversations, and building genuine connections along the way. I see hosting and surfing as acts of trust and kindness, and I truly value being part of a community built on those values.

I like movies that are meaningful, inspiring, or thought-provoking. Some of my favorites include The Pursuit of Happyness, Interstellar, and 3 Idiots. I also enjoy good TV series, especially dramas and tech-related or psychological shows.
Books:
I mostly enjoy non-fiction, self-development, and books that offer new perspectives on life and thinking. A few that I like are Atomic Habits and The Alchemist. I’m always open to book recommendations from others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving solo from India to Europe to pursue my studies—starting fresh in a new country, culture, and language—has been my most amazing life experience so far.
Teach, Learn, Share

Learn:
I’d love to learn about local culture and daily life in Lisbon and Portugal, including language basics, food, history, and hidden spots in the city. I’m always interested in learning new skills, perspectives, and life stories from people I meet.
