About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try not to lead a linear boring life

ABOUT ME

Came back in Brussels last year after almost nine years spent living in London. I've traveled to South East Asia for 4 months last year and I'm about to settle down in Madrid to be fluent in Spanish and find a job there.

PHILOSOPHY

"Take risks: if you win, you will be happy; if you lose, you will be wise."

“Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I joined CS 10 years ago, I've never been active up until now. Once I've settled in Spain, I will start hosting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience was as a couchsurfer. I went with a friend who knew the host. I stayed two weeks in a nice flat in New Rochelle, small town half an hour away from New York. The host was really cool.
I never hosted but I intend to in the near future, either in Brussels or somewhere else.

Music: Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Fiona Apple, Rita Mitsouko...

Books: Thrillers like Into the Darkest Corners, Gone girl and essays on modern society like "Affluenza"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lucky enough to spend 3 days in the Amazon rain forest on the Bolivian side, near the Beni river. I stayed in an eco-village in the jungle, surrounded by snakes, tarantulas, monkeys, aras, crocodiles, ... I will never forget it.

Also, I worked in an animal refuge in Thailand for 2 weeks, feeding monkeys and elephants... That's two things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a good cook so I could teach how to make a good dish or two.

I can teach languages: I am fluent in French and English and I have an upper intermediate level in Spanish, and basics in Dutch

I'd like to learn how to surf and skydive on my own.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Cambodia, Japan, Laos, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
