About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see everything, do everything

ABOUT ME

I'm adventurous, fun-loving, and I'll try anything twice. I'm a graduate of the University of Florida, I perform stand-up comedy, and play soccer. I like to propose adventurous ideas to friends by smiling and asking, "You ever been kicked out of a Walmart?"

PHILOSOPHY

Take chances, make mistakes, get messy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Everyone I've met while Couch Surfing is ridiculously amazing and my experiences would not have been nearly as incredible without them. I've only hosted once so far, but I've done my fair share of surfing

Interests

I love everything movie related, and I perform stand-up comedy around town. I'm also trying to get into Urban Exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and I can talk to you for hours about what movies I like and why, but what it typically boils down to are auteur films (Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, Robert Rodriguez, Wes Craven) and horror movies, especially if they're terribly cheesy. There's nothing like watching a terrible horror movie in a room full of stand up comedians while making fun of it.

I like almost all kinds of music, and I recently started playing the mandolin. I'm not that good yet, but, patience.

As far as books go, I like just about anything by Chuck Palahniuk, and I love Hermann Hesse's "Demian" and William Golding's "Lord of the Flies."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two weeks traveling all over Turkey with a Travel Studies class in high school. Every sight and every person was totally amazing and I'll never forget it.

A friend and I also took a 19-day MegaBus trip through 10 eastern US cities and up to Toronto, couch surfing most of the way

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a decent cook and a great drinking buddy

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Mexico, Turkey, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
