I'm a seeker. I'm a hopeful romantic. I like sleeping under the stars and reading by firelight. I feel most myself when I'm outside in nature, climbing mountains and trees. I'm searching for what makes sense in this world, what is important and precious. I try to live as simply as possible, pursuing adventure and experience in lieu of comfort and security. I'm looking to make as many genuine human connections as I can. We're all on this crazy journey through life together, it's best when we all help each other out.

I'm on a mission to explore as much of this world as I can while I have the life to do it. I hope to meet people of like mind and spirit, and also people who surprise and challenge me. I love the idea of a community of people that open their lives to others and invite them to join it, if only for a night. I love sharing stories and ideas, or simply being; together.

Books! Cooking for people. Finally getting to see the view you worked so hard to hike up to. Conversations with strangers. Trying to be a good student in life. Kindness. Learning new things and being able to share with others. Sleeping under the stars. Firelight. Slacklining. Practicing saying yes to opportunities - especially when your first reaction is to say no. Embracing what this crazy life offers! Nobody has it figured out and I don't think I'm trying to anymore - I just want to enjoy it and make people happy and read good books, eat good food, drink good beer and be as healthy as possible.
