我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I work for an international auction house, Sotheby's, and will be on a three month assignment in NYC from beginning of July till the end of September.
I have never been to the US and therefore want to make the most of my time there. I am planning to visit a couple of places on the West Coast in the second half of June and subsequently go on weekend trips while I am in NYC.
For me travelling around means not only changing location but above all meeting people and thus discovering the world:)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived in Madrid for over 2 years and shortly after I had arrived I was invited by my best friend from Uni to spend Christmas with her and her family in San Sebastian. It was completely different from what I had experienced before in Poland - new place, people, food, different traditions, weather etc. - and I LOVED it. In addition, we visited a place called CHILLIDA LEKU (sculpture park set up by Spanish artist Eduardo Chillida) which I had know about but never thought I would get the chance to visit....and it happened quite unexpectedly!...I wish life consisted of more of similar unexpected and exciting occurrences:)

I have lived in London for over 6 years and know how annoying it can be to have too many sight seeing-hungry visitors...however, if only I can, I do share my knowledge about and love for London with whoever stays with me and it would be wonderful to experience similar attitude form those whom I will visit on my upcoming American adventure and any other adventure in the future:)
